Was so damn busy the whole of yesterday, though for the first time it wasn't due to my work. In some ways, it was sort of like an offday to me, but one which i didn't rest at home for once.
My day started early in the morning as i made my way down to town to accompany J for her lasik op. Well, she had also decided to get her's done at the same clinic as i had mine for many different reasons. I just had to be there for her, didn't i? Espcially if there's anyone in this world out there who deserves my attention the most, there's no doubt bout it that she would always be the first person in my heart. Someone whom i would always shower with my utmost care and concern.
As she went into the operation theatre, i waited at the waiting lobby patiently for her to finish her op. However, if i had known that it would take that long a time, i would had gone down for some breakfast first cos end of the day, i waited for more than an hour sitting at the comfy sofa for my "dear majesty" to come out, as i used to call her that nowadays. Thank god that i had my huge Armani sunglasses on as i sort of took a short nap along the way without anyone noticing me. If not it would had been quite embarassing don't you think so.
After her op, we went to get some lunch for her before sending her back home safely as she needed to rest her eyes. After ensuring that she was being tucked safely in bed, i made my way slowly to Toa Payoh as i had a training session in the evening with my team-mates for this coming saturday's street soccer tournament which was being organised by my school. As things turn out, i reached TP pretty early. Luckily for me, my mate Anthony was free at that point of time hence he made his way to Central to accompany me. Chatted bout many topics, mainly with regards to soccer and relationship issues at McDonald's.
The training session did not went as smoothly as i had hoped for as a few of us had knocks all over, though the worst one to suffer was Anthony as he sort of sprained his ankle during the match. Just hoping that he recovers in time for this saturday's tournament as he would be a huge loss to our team for he's the star striker here. Had dinner with the lads after the training but was kinda funny to see Anthony limping around but still being able to crack jokes and disturb Hendrik bout his looks. Haha!
Was bout to make my way home after dinner when Eddy called me asking whether i was interested in ktv later on in the night. Without any hesitation, i immediately agreed. I mean, come on, whenever there's karaoke, there would be Calvin right? Haha! Like as though i was a singer like that. Managed to persuade Min to go with us as we needed someone whom we could sing duets with, though no offence to Min as she sang pretty well that night, be it alone or with us.
We went to cine kbox to sing at the end of the day cos firstly Eddy drove which made transportation much easier while secondly, cine kbox was the only ktv to open it's premises till 6am in the morning. Meaning we could sing for as long as we like. In the end, we had to thank our lucky stars for going there as we really sang our hearts out till like 4am! That's like more than 6hrs of ktv that night! Gosh!
By the time we left kbox, all 3 of us were almost close to losing our voices and closing our eyes as we were all very tired cum sleepy. However, 1 thing that amazed all of us was that when we left the premises at around 4 in the morning, there were still plenty of people singing in there, which made me wonder whether they needed to work or attend classes the next day for it's like already in the wee hours of the morning. Maybe what Min said was true. Singaporeans really do know how to enjoy their lives.
Anyway, as we sauntered our way towards Eddy's car, we saw an interesting image which brightened us all up instantly. Or should i say made us laugh our hearts out as Eddy's car was covered with bird droppings all over. Haha! Can you just envisage the sight of it now? Till now, the image of his car is still being captured deep inside my brain. And to think some of those droppings look as though they were kinda fresh like that. Yucks! No wonder Eddy's first stop after leaving town was to go to any petrol kiosk in Balestier to wash his car as the sight of it was pretty embarassing i must admit. Even the foreign workers who was washing the car laughed when they saw it at the beginning. Haha!
After sending Min back home safely, Eddy came over my place to sleep over for the night. That was roughly the events that happened yesterday. Though it sounds quite short but all in all, my schdule was really very packed though i kind of enjoyed myself thoroughly i gotta admit. The only down side to my day was having to miss my Utd vs Roma match though i did managed to catch the repeat telecast of it earlier. Anyway, main thing was Utd winning and getting the 3 points which they thoroughly deserved.
As nothing really took place today, just the same old usual stuffs thus, i would not be blogging much. Probably the only thing that was bit uncommon was me cooking dinner for my entire family. Yes! It's me, no doubt bout that for anyone who still do not know that i'm one of those guys out there who's able to cook. Whipped up a simple but delicious meal of Al Fresco pasta for them. Probably down to me being in good spirits as it really had to depend on my mood in order for me to cook.
