Had a pretty boring day today. Probably cos feeling the monday blues. Did pretty much the same old stuffs with my work. That's life i guess. It revolves around the same old cycle most of the time.

Same old things like sleeping, eating, working, studying and of cos surfing the net these days with renewed passion. Haha! I somehow like that phrase. Anyway, besides blogging, i've also found a new interesting website to play with besides the old usual Friendster and Multiply websites. That is the very popular Facebook. Had my doubts in the beginning though cos i reckoned it to being the same networking site as fs. However, to my surprise and much amusement, i actually got hooked onto it within days of using it.

It's different from fs in a way cos it's so much more "REAL". As in, you have to give most of your full particulars before being able to fully utilise most of the applications in it. Furthermore, you can't lie your way through most of the networks that ya joining like say for eg. if ya not studying in this college and you wanna join their network, then most likely you would be denied access to it. That's just an example of why i find it so much more realistic then most other networking websites.

Moreover, there's so much more fun applications like "throwing a sheep at your fellow friend or sending them a drink" instead of the usual making friends-in-the-website kind of thing. That's why i give the thumbs up to facebook. Another point which i would like to highlight on would be that facebook gives you the opportunity to search and locate long-lost friends. At least that's how i felt as i personally experienced the joy of finding 2 old friends whom i've lost contact for a few years.

1 of them was my dearest Shifu Ting Ting (pic above with me sporting long hair back then). Gosh! Really missed her so bloody much. If i'm not wrong, we have lost touch for like 3 years or more. Actually, till today, i still do not know why we just lost contact with one another after being so close in the past. We sort of had a very special kind of bonding between the both of us, though not those lover kind of relationships i must say. Think she was more like a sister to me as i really did looked up to her.

I could still remember most of the things which we did together and the words which she said to me in the past. Always being there for me and giving me sensible advise, especially when i got into trouble with my family or with J. Looking back, i just wondered to myself what would have happened had she been here throughout these few years. Cos so many things had happened to me these past few years.

My brushes with the law, my problems while serving the army and most of all, my relationships. Especially the problems i had with J and E. She was like my pillar of strength. I knew she would always have sensible words or solutions for me whenever i'm at my wits end. Anyway, what's happen has happened. Nobody can turn the clock back or do anything bout it so just have to get on with life. Just glad that i've regained contact with her. So far, we've since talked over the phone to each other and catching up with things which had happened to us during these past few years.

I'm pretty sure that she's sharing the same sentiments as i do. Really just grateful to god for allowing me the chance to get back in contact with her. The other friend whom i managed to get back in contact would be Xue'Er. Although my relationship with her wasn't as close as that with Ting Ting, she was still someone whom i've had fond memories of cos she was a fun-loving and beautiful gal. Someone who's always enjoying life and in turn would add a touch of fun to your life whenever ya by her side. Haha!

Furthermore, without the both of them playing a minor part back then, i believed J wouldn't have been with me that fast and smoothly too! So yup! Gotta extend my greatest thanks and gratitude to facebook for giving me the chance to re-contact these 2 beautiful, elegant and intelligent ladies.
