Just woke up and blogging straight away. Haha! Whole body's feeling kinda weak right now. Probably due to a lack of rest time or cos i over-exerted myself this morning while training with my Utd team-mates.

Anyway, really been very happy these days. Especially hanging out with my wonderful Utd mates like Raj, Jason, Kevin, Weiyi etc. Like suddenly found a new lease of life after being quite down a few weeks ago. Maybe this is what i call fate. Sometimes things happened for no particular reason and just when you least expected it.

Went to CS last night to catch the Utd vs Birmingham match with Kevin and Raj. However, was surprised to find that we were the first few to arrive. The regulars all came late. Basket! A few of them even told me that they were gonna be there a few hours earlier. Luckily didn't heed their words if not i would be sitting down there and waiting for the rest like a silly idiot. Haha!

The match itself was pretty boring and disappointing as Utd had their worst game of the season in my eyes. Thank god we managed to edge out a 1-0 win courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo's individual brilliance (watch the video below for highlights of his goal). 3 points and our 7th consecutive match whereby we kept a cleansheet. Kudos to the defence for making this happen. Afterall, defence wins you games and determine who becomes champions come end of season.

Luckily, Utd won if not Weiyi would not have turned up for this morning's training session as he said during half-time last night that he would only appear if Utd had won, though i know he wsn't serious bout it. Special thanks to Kevin for sending us to CS and then back home.

Had supper with Raj after the match at the coffeeshop opposite Punggol Park but what followed was a few hours of non-stop chatting between the both of us till the wee hours of the morning. Haha! We just sort of continued our talk, going through topics after topics ranging from Utd to our NS days. Realised that actually both of us had pretty much in common, especially the fact that we were both from 30 SCE! Damn!

Still able to recall what Raj said upon knowing that we were both from the same unit, except that he was from Alpha while i was from Charlie. Damn funny la! He was like "ya also a combat engineer? Don't tell me ya from 30 sce? (after i nodded) Bloody hell! Think those who went to 30 sce must have committed lots of sins in the past. Think last life we were all japanese soldiers who killed and raped many people that's why we were made to suffer in Jurong Camp!" Haha! Could not have agreed with him further. He was spot on with the same sentiments as i had. As we recalled our army days, we really realised that both of us really suffered alot during our 2 years serving the nation. Well, at least that was all a thing of the past now.

Didn't really sleep at all after i got my ass back home as i knew that i could not miss this morning's training session with all my mates. Furthermore, i reckoned there would be a huge turn-out hence another good opportunity to meet up with many new fellow Mancunians. As things turn out, we nearly couldn't get on with our practise as the warden over at DQ Primary forbidded us from using the field there in the beginning. However, after some clarification from Shawal with the school officials, we managed to get on with our training. Had a good kick-about overall, though the downside was my nike boots were damaged. Think it's finally high time to get a new pair. Probably a pair of predators this time round.

True to my words, there really was a huge turn-out for this training session and i met many new fellas like Micheal, Kelvin etc. Hoping next week's session would be the same or even better. Went for lunch with a few of the guys at Cheng San hawker center before calling it a day and going home straight for my beauty sleep after staying up the whole night yesterday. I must admit that it was a really good sleep as i only just woke up a few minutes ago. Think that's bout all for today's post. Cheers Mates! Go Utd!
