On a Roadtrip
Actually, i've so many things in my mind that i wanna blogged bout but somehow or rather my mind's kinda blank right now. Strange rite? All in all, this trip down to M'sia was well worth the efforts, considering i had to be back in S'pore for bout a week plus to serve my re-service, before heading back. Anyway, I would be touching on my re-service stint during the next few days.
My initial motives for going back there instead of places which were much further away, like say Korea or Taiwan etc, were mainly to visit my granny and my 2 cute, little rascals whom i really sorely missed ever since i last saw them back in January. Who were they? I'm sure many of you fellas would be scratching your heads and pondering now but fret not as i would be touching on them in later posts. Anyway, and much to my surprise, this trip down turned out to be a very eventful few weeks as i made many new friends and visited many new places which i've never been to before. Kinda like a totally new experience for me.
Anyone who knew me would know that i'm a guy who loves making friends. Afterall, it would only do you good if you widen your social cycle as i believed that you never know what the future lies ahead. Probably 1 fine day you might need help from that particular friend. All these small little things in life no one could ever forsee. Matter of fact, i sort of knew that i would be making new friends there but what i did not expect was to really make lots of new friends, amongst them a few whom i really feel could become good buddies with them in the long run.
Moreover, each and everyone of them, most in fact, brought me to different places from KL to Klang. From popular tourist destinations like the Eye of M'sia, KL Tower etc. to many happening night spots which i've honestly never been to nor heard of them before like Ruums, Laundry Bar etc. So you could actually consider it as quite an eye-opener for this regular ex-clubber. In a way, i do not deny the fact that this few weeks has probably rekindled the clubbing nature that's in me. Afterall, i've kind of stopped clubbing for quite some time back in S'pore so to actually keep hitting the nightspots in M'sia should be considered quite a major change in me! Think Pris gonna laugh at me when she sees this. Furthermore, i've gotta admit that i've been drinking quite heavily during this trip though fear not, as i'm still not yet an alcoholic. So MOS, Zouk here i come this weekend. Haha!
Did i not mention the 1 major thing in M'sia which always makes me wanna go back there without fear. That is the simply delicious M'sian food. People always termed S'pore as a food paradise but to me personally, i still feel that the food in S'pore pales in comparison to the food in M'sia. Trust me on that, given the fact that i've lived my life at different stages of time over in these 2 countries throughout my 23 years in life. Being a food lover, i was naturally happy to be able to try out many new places which my new friends brought me to. Although these food were the same old stuffs which i've eaten before, nevertheless, they were really very delicious besides the fact that these places which my friends brought me to were popular places that served the particular kind of food for eg. bak kut teh, dim sum, seafood, hotpot etc.
Besides the food and places which i went to, the other common types of entertainment during my trip would be like all those things which we normally do back in s'pore. Clubbing, singing karaoke, going to spa, bowling, snooker, shopping etc. Speaking of shopping, i really shopped like mad this time round, in the process spending lots of money. If i'm not wrong, my shopping expenses alone was over 1k sing dollars, considering the fact that i was shopping in M'sia which amounts to roughly bout 2k plus ringgit. Alot of money rite, and that's excluding my living expenses while i was there. That's why my mum was in a tirade when i got my ass back home. Ha! Time to start saving up already now that i'm back.
Fortunately for me, my best bud Eddy went back to M'sia with me, once more, for a week at the beginning of the trip. However, due to work commitments, he had to go back home earlier, thus kind of miss his company as put the both of us together and you get the word "fun" written all over. Think he would miss his "dragon" now that he's back here. Haha! (you should be laughing now after seeing this Eddy)
I think that's bout all for this post. Would be inserting lots of pics below with captions attached to it to describe the peeps or events in it. By the way, any non-m'sians out there who's going or thinking of holidaying in M'sia feel free to contact me as i would be more than willing to shower you with details on the various whereabouts to have fun or to eat over there. So do contact me at fieryhot_07@hotmail.com or chat with me in msn using this same e-mail add. Take care folks!
That's me chilling out at Bukit Tinggi in Klang at night. The place behind was the popular "Station 1 Coffee" cafe where both Eddy and i had our drinks at. A very fun and cool place to be in as they had a live band and games available for us to engage in like jenga, uno etc, though the best thing of all was the huge amount of babes there for us to ogle at. Haha! I'm serious.
Eddy and i playing bowling at the bowling alley in Sunway Pyramid. This was only made possible after we reached Sunway and realised that Sunway Lagoon was close for maintenance every Tuesday. Damn! Anyway, we still found ways to entertain ourselves for example playing this. Remembered my dear buddy making a wager with me saying that he would thrashed me upside down, that i was not a match for him. In the end, we both agreed that the loser had to treat the other party to karaoke later after bowling.
What a great pic taken by my best friend. Ha! A fantastic shot by yours truly, and this was only 1 of the many great shots which i had made en route to my victory. Won 3 games in a row, thus had a free ktv session after bowling.
This was again us pausing to take a pic while singing karaoke at Redbox Sunway Pyramid. I've gotta admit that the karaoke at Redbox was so much better than our very own Kbox, be it the sound system or the amount of variety of songs available for us to choose from, especially the english songs as most of the songs featured the original singers themselves and not those ar-chee-pa-lia mtvs normally played in the ktvs in S'pore.
That's a snap shot of me singing taken by Eddy. Noticed how concentrated i was? Haha! Well, can't blame me, afterall singing was 1 of my hobbies back in S'pore.
Ruums, the most happening club in KL as what most of my m'sian friends had told me. Thus, decided to check it out myself. As it turns out, all of them were not lying to me. It really was very happening. Totally enjoyed myself, though the downside was i do not know how to dance shuffle. Aarghz!
With my friend Alvin at Ruums. Okay, i know i had a bad hair day, thus looking disastrous. Not the kind of outlook which any guy was hoping to sport before going to a club filled with lots of babes, but what the heck, i'm just going there to enjoy myself, not to woo or flirt around.
With Alvin and Ah Leong at the so-called most happening pub in Klang. The both of them wanted a change of environment after always hanging out around KL, hence went down to Klang to look for me as my place was there. Noticed the bottles of beer which could be normally seen in coffeeshops around S'pore? Well, that's what we normally order and drink in Klang, be it in pubs or discos. That's the culture there, though it's different in KL so do not be mistaken.
With my bro Alvin from Klang. He's the 1 whom i normally hangs out with when i'm in Klang. A very happening guy who's very popular with girls. Thus, there would always be no shortage of chicks with him around. Haha!
With JoJo, a very friendly gal. Oh my god, i'm red as usual after drinking a few glasses of beer only. Who's hand is that by the way?
With the resident DJ in the house, Jeff. Nice guy to chat with and he would play any songs for you which you requested.
With Jasmine, a very talkative and funny gal who keeps insisting that she's ugly. For christ sake, she's not right? Ha! Love the pink highlights on her hair by the way.
With Lydia, the boss's daughter. Very cheeky gal who's not to be trifled with.
With the sweet looking Pinky at 1 Utama. Her whole outlook reminds me of those taiwanese gals with the barbie princess curls.
With Berry, a very confident gal of everything like her looks for example, at Kenny Rogers Times Square, sporting my new hairstyle. She says i look like a "pai kia". Do you agree with her?
With Veronica at Ruums. A very nice gal to hang out with. Hope she enjoyed her birthday this year.
With my bro Ah Leong at Ruums. Very fun and entertaining guy to hang out with who's always making jokes or playing pranks on others. Oh, did i mentioned that he's a very good dancer as well. Hoping to master shuffle from him in the near future.
With the sweet and beautiful Angel at Ruums. So many nice things to describe bout her but i would like to keep that to myself. Just can't wait for her to come over to S'pore to work.
With my new group of S'porean friends outside Ruums. The way in which i knew them was quite weird but funny too in a way. We were all clubbing at Ruums when the lights were suddenly turned on. Turns out that the m'sian police were carrying out a raid to arrest people that were either underaged or had consumed drugs. However, and probably in my opinion, they wanted to save their face too hence they requested all foreigners to kindly leave the premises. Heck, i'm holding my precious pink ic with me thus was able to walk out of the club freely. That's when i met this wacky group of peeps who were keeping their pink ics too. Hence went up to them and struck up a conversation. Afterall, it's quite rare to see your own countrymen in this kind of situation. In the end, as both they and me were waiting outside the club for our m'sian friends to be released, thus we exchanged our contact numbers and e-mail adds and also took pics together.
Noticed the guy in white? He's Nick, a m'sian friend whom i knew outside the club too! I'm not sure how come he wasn't inside the club when the police raided the place but overall a very friendly and outgoing guy.
Ain't she pretty for a malay? Very fun-loving gal who's also similar to me cos she's studying in TP at the moment.
With Cannie. Very surprising to saw her at Ruums too. A very friendly gal whom i met through very strange circumstances.
With my other bro, Zhihua. Close friends with Ah Leong. Wacky and funny guy whom i enjoyed hanging out with too. Only strange thing is that he likes to sing Huang Yida's songs.
Taken together while singing karaoke at Neway Times Square. I personally like this pic alot. Don't ask me why.
Singing karaoke at Neway Times Square. I seriously gotta put both my hands up in the air to acknowledge that these 3 peeps were good singers who all had their own styles of singing.
Ain't this pics cute? We decided to take a neoprint pic after walking past the neoprint shop. Afterall, all 4 of us were quite keen on the idea as we all had not took a neoprint pic for quite sometime already. Thank god that all the pics came out well. Had fun decorating them with all sorts of cute lil' cartoon pics. Hee.
The Eye of M'sia in the day. Special thanks to Xue Fen and Shi Pei for bringing me to this popular tourist destination though was bit disappointed as it was not as big or high as what i had in mind. Now can't wait for the S'pore ferris wheel to be ready as it is reportedly the biggest ever ferris wheel in the world, even bigger than the London Eye.
My favourite scenary pic taken by who else but me! I took it during sunset. Very nice right?
The Eye of M'sia in the night. The lights were very bright which in a way was good if you wanna take pics of it.
With Xue Fen, 1 of the nicest gals whom i've ever met in my life. I can't thank her enough for showing me around seriously.
They had this laser showcase in the night, though it was quite boring as it simply reminded me of the laser show at Sentosa.
Look at the backdrop. Laser works, KLCC and the m'sian opera house. Wow! What a threesome!
I really gotta thank these 2 gals for taking me there. If not i wouldn't have the chance to experience it as i had no idea at all on how to get my ass down there. By the way, wondering whether Shi Pei thinks she's advertising for the drink on her hands. Haha.
The 3 of us making silly faces inside the capsule as they termed it. Can you believe that we were actually several storeys high up when this pic was taken. Ha! Paid rm15 per person and there were 6 rounds in total. Not too bad overall.
That's me trying to act cool. Haha! Do i look like a baddie?
Taken with this 3 Japanese guys who were together inside the capsule with us. Very friendly people as i chatted with them, in english though, that's why Shi Pei was quite surprised after we got off the capsule. She said that i could basically talked to anyone, which made her quite impressed.
The 3 of us managing to capture a moment during the laser works display. Notice the KLCC or twin towers on the top right hand corner of the pic?
Well, that's how the KLCC looks like in the night. Actually a very beautiful sight to behold with all the lightings and everything, making it look grand and majestic, though the pic is bit blur after zooming it over a further distance away.
That's Shi Pei and me. A very friendly but talkative gal who's always being bullied by me as i would disturbed her whenever she opens her mouth to talk. Haha.

That's bout all guys. I'll upload more pics in the future i promise. Stay tuned to it alright? Thanks! I love ya all.
