Just woke up after a long night out with my friends. Kind of having a hangover now after drinking a wee bit too much while clubbing at Zouk last night. Though it's been a long time coming, but the feeling of clubbing back in familiar territories really felt great. Totally enjoyed myself hanging out with friends whom i've "neglected" for sometime. Haha! At least that was what they were saying to me that's why i used that word.

However, 1 sore thing totally dampened my spirits last night. That was not being able to smoke freely. That's why i ended up having to go in and out of the club frequently. My god, smoking being banned in all clubs and pubs with effect from 1st July. A new ruling. Wtf! Not being able to smoke when clubbing? What logic is that. Why not banned the drinking of alcohol too since drinking is also bad for health. Seriously, i find this ban way too much already. I mean i can still accept the ban of smoking in coffeshops for example but come on, not in clubs. Afterall, many clubbers who club usually smoke and drink. That's been the norm all along right anot. Haiz. Sometimes really do not know what the government is thinking.

Anyway, something happened yesterday afternoon that made me kind of disappointed but yet angry in certain aspects too. And i was referring my disappointment and anger to someone. Someone who really totally disappointed me. Doesn't she knows what the word "friends" stands for? Even if she doesn't wanna keep in touch with me anymore for certain reasons which i'm able to guess, she should at the very least have the courtesy to return me certain things which i lent to her personally instead of asking people to pass it back to me. Some people in this world really do not have any basic courtesy nor manners. That's why they said that looks can really be very deceiving. Haiz. "好心没好报" I'm sure many chinese knows what this sentence means. Really very disappointed boy. Furthermore, we were only just normal platonic friends so really do not know what was she actually thinking. Maybe her thoughts were being influenced by others. Who knows? Anyway, forget it. No point stirring up my feelings over this kind of people. Totally waste of time. At least through this incident, i should thank god for allowing me to see through another person whom i once treated as a friend that's why cos of old times sake, i've decided not to mention who she is. Just treat this as another kind of lesson in life.

Sometimes i really wonder. Maybe i should not have treated my friends that well. Cos in that case, i wouldn't be so disappointed when i sort of lose a friend as friendships meant alot to me personally. But try as i may, i just could not changed what i am. It's born in me. I'm who i am. My ex used to often scold me and telling me to not treat friends that well but i refused to seek her advice. That's why often ended up in so many turmoils, especially with regards to friends. Well, whatever it is, i'll still be the same old Calvin whom all you guys know, and look ahead towards the future. Afterall, tomorrow is a new day, a brand new beginning in life.
