Back after being Sick
Hey guys, i'm finally back after being out of action for the past few weeks. 2 weeks to be precise. Well, throughout this period of time, though my schdule was packed as per usual, but nevertheless, i still found time out to settle certain important issues in my life, especially those that had the word "friends" involved.
Furthermore, i was down with illness throughout the whole of last week. Bloody unlucky i should say. Besides running a temperature, i kept coughing non-stop and had lots of phlegm stuck in the middle of my throat. Really quite a sucky feeling overall as i couldn't really talk much and had to keep making trips to the loo to spit those disgusting things out. Yucks! Looking back, i've never been so sick since ages ago. Anyway, i've since fully recovered and would like to thank all those friends who were concerned bout me when i wasn't feeling well.
I also had to look after my granddad who was warded into the hospital last week. It was only till yesterday that he was out of the hospital. The main problem this time round was that he couldn't walk as his legs were very weak and he felt the sharp pain everytime he tried to move his legs. I recalled this particular incident when i had to bathe him and he was so shy. Maybe he ought to feel that way as it was afterall his grandson that was bathing him. Believe me, a guy's a guy afterall. There's this little matter called ego. Moreover, shouldn't he feel lucky that his grandchildren and children were still there for him as compared to those poor old aged people who were being left behind at old folks home by their kids. Does this kind of problem happen to the old aged? Is it true that everyone would encounter problems with health when they grew old? I'm really puzzled and neither do i wished to envisage that day happening to me. Or maybe i could not live to celebrate my 50th birthday party at all. *Touchwood* In life, u never know what the future lies ahead for u. That's why i've lived to see things in another perspective. As my motto in life goes, live life to the fullest as u never know what's gonna happen to u tomorrow.
Oh ya, before i forgot. I would wish to thank Ben & Eddy for accompanying me the whole day at the IT show last week. It was quite an eventful outing for me as i finally bought my all-in-1 printer which had a scanner and copier in it, a Creative mp3 player for my mum (filial son rite) and a few memory cards for my PSP, hp and digi cam. Although the two of them did bought their own stuffs too, but still many thanks to the both of them. Could recall vividly the entire area which occupied 2 levels at the Suntec Conventional Centre. I kept walking around, squeezing my way through the packed crowds for a few hours till i could recall exactly which booth were situated at which exact location. This was afterall the largest IT show of the year so naturally all the big guns like Creative, Apple, Toshiba etc. were there with all their latest gadgets. Would blogged more bout the issue on friends which i mentioned in the beginning tomorrow. Cos i reckon that this post would be pretty long if i continued with my story. Moreover, some of my friends were already complaining that my posts were very long thus, i feel that i should do something to it. Take care guys!
