Some people are either weird by nature or just being nosey, likes to poke into others business. By that i mean being very "kpo", as what we s'poreans like to term. Cos due to my last post, received quite a few comments from many weird people; some criticizing, some praising but mainly just wanna know if the things described were true anot. Haha! So to all u fellas out there who's been dying to know the truth, well, all i've gotta say is the answer lies in ur imagination. Like what was said at the end, parts of it were fictional while certain parts were facts.
Anyway, what Eddy said at the beginning was the truth. It was quite last minute decision to travel to KL as i was still at work when i received his call. Though i did not really felt exactly like going, but i just did not want to disappoint him. Furthermore, he had done lots and lots of things for me but on the contrary, i've not done so. Hence, decided to fulfill what a best friend should do, that is accompanying this "despo" guy on a holiday out of sunny S'pore. Think he's gonna slam me for that remark.
As it was quite late by the time i agreed to accompany him to M'sia, hence we decided on going the next morning. This brother of mine, fearing that i might fly his kite, went straight to my house that night to sleep over. In that way, no matter what happens, there wouldn't be any excuses for me not to be out of the country the very next day. Thank god that there were still tickets to M'sia by coach in the morning as we did not wanna waste our precious time. Afterall, like what he said, we were planning to enjoy ourselves throughly. Anyway, after all the traffic jam at the Causeway and the few hours of sleep in the coach, we finally reached this place called Pudu Raya, the bus terminal in KL. By then, it was already late afternoon thus, we hurriedly went around searching for a suitable hotel to sleep for the night.
Out of the coach. KL here i come!!!
The first of many picsFortunately for us, we did managed to find a suitable hotel that could satisfy our basic needs at the end of the day. Phew! Thank god! After washing up and leaving our stuffs behind, we headed straight to the densely populated shopping area in KL so as not to waste any precious time. Though i've forgotten the name of the area, but it's somewhere whereby Sungei Wang and Times Square are located. Hours later, after much shopping, shopping and more shopping! The both of us bought lots of things, mainly clothes as they were cheap when u convert the currency rates. While shopping at one of the shops there, we chance upon this very cool gothic looking guy which u rarely would see in s'pore. Needless to say, my dear brother insisted on taking a pic with him.
What a difference between these 2 guysAfter shopping for a few hours, we decided to hit the streets to check out the x'mas lightings and decorations. Wanted to see for ourselves whether was it similar to Orchard. Sad to say, it's still not as good as compared to S'pore. I'm not saying that it's lousy or what, just that the standard over in S'pore is better off at the moment. Some of the pics which we took in the night and of the beautiful lightings in the heart of KL.

Best friends in a foreign landAfter monkeying around and lots of walking, our legs were becoming wobbly and stomachs were rumbling. We needed to find some place for food. I recommended Eddy to this very famous steakhouse called The Ship as it was my favourite steakhouse during my childhood days. For all u guys who still doesn't know this, i grew up in M'sia for your info. Furthermore, they had supposedly the best steak in town. We were just going to check out the menu outside the restaurant when we could smell the fragrant bbq steak aroma coming out of the entrance. Instantly, we made up our minds to have our dinner there. The whole decor inside the restaurant was exactly like what u would imagine in a ship, except that the ambience would be different. Even the servers were decked out in sailors attire! In the end, Eddy had roast turkey while i had my all-time favourite sizzling ribeye steak.
They aren't called the best steak in town for nothing
The decor is similar to the ones inside a ship

While we were having our dinner, we spotted something interesting. For every table in The Ship, they had this round device whereby there's 3 buttons for u to press. They are namely the Call, Bill and Dessert buttons. All u need to do is to press each individual button for the type of service which u required and their "sailor" would soon attend to your needs within a few seconds. Very efficient and time-saving, instead of standing up or waving your hands like a silly idiot to look for the waiter to serve u. I would recommend this service or rather device to most shops in S'pore as up till now, i've yet to see something similar over here.
Interesting rite? After dinner, we headed straight for our hotel to wash up and get prepared for the "main event" of the night. We were going to check out Zouk KL. Afterall, i've never ever been there before considering the fact that i used to club in the S'pore outlet almost every week. After a few hours of making-up (exaggerating), we were finally ready! What happened next was totally a shame. Both of us had a shock of our lives as Zouk KL suck big time! I mean really really big, big time. There wasn't any crowd at all and the dance floor was like empty considering the time was close to 12 by then. Wtf! Moreover, it was a saturday nite but instead the whole arena looked like as though ya in a ghost town. Totally disappointing experience for the both of us. We swore afterwards that it would be our first and last time going to that place to club again. If i'm not wrong, we were there for like close to an hour before leaving, insearch of other much more happening clubs. True enough, we came across this stretch of clubs located in Jln Ampang. Clubs like Rum Jungle, Aloha etc. Was so much more happening as compared to Zouk, thus we decided to stay put over there. What happened after that would forever be a secret between my buddy and me.

Much more happening club AlohaAfter our short stay in KL, we headed back to my home town in Klang the next day as i wanted to visit my grandma whom i've not seen for more than 2 years. After resting here and there, we decided to head to Sunway Lagoon as it was not very far away from my house. I've gotta admit that the experience over there was not what the both of us had envisaged. Nevertheless, since the both of us were out in another country, hence, it meant that we could do anything we wanted without being spotted by people who knew us. We reminded each other of this point and went out and enjoyed ourselves throughly. Brought him to savour some of the local delicacies in Klang, mainly a few of my favourite all-time food like the "bak kut teh" and the "kuey tiao tah". I swore that the both of us had each gained at least 2-3 kg by the time we left for S'pore.

Mr Wannabe Rod Stewart aka EdwardoThough our trip was very short, but all in all, both of us really enjoyed ourselves. Furthermore, this was the first time which i've ever went on a holiday with someone from my closest group of buddies, and it happened to be with my best friend. What a "virgin" trip!!! I believed this would be the first of many more such holidays in future, not to mention with my other buddies like Sharon, Min, Allen etc. Can't wait for that day to arrive. Lastly, i would like to thank my buddy Eddy for this wonderful experience. I believe the both of us would cherish all the memories we spent there, especially that "few hours", right bro? Haha! Till next time...
