Inconsistency might be the key word to best describe how my beloved red devils are playing at the moment. I mean, yeah they're firing on all cylinders in the league but when it comes to the knock-out tournaments, they're losing games. Take for eg. the match against Pompey. Yes, they did won convincingly (3-0) courtesy of goals from Saha, Ronaldo & Vidic but that's also after losing in mid-week to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League. By the way, Ronny scored a marvellous heck of a goal in that match. Slowly but steadily, he's taking over the mantle of freekick speciallist from one Mr David Joseph Beckham.

Blistering Freekick
As i mentioned earlier on the topic of them being inconsistent, well, it was laid bare for all to see last week as they were knocked out of the Carling Cup by lowly Southend FC. Before that match, i'm sure millions of people around the world, including myself, would not even have knew that such a club actually existed. Anyway, true to their gentle killing nickname in the tournament so far this season, having knocked out 2 Premier League sides before facing Man Utd, they won again, this time 1-0 via a stunner from life long Man Utd fan Freddy Eastwood. In fact, the red devils could have no excuse for themselves as Sir Alex fielded a really strong side for that match, featuring the likes of Wazza & Ronny etc. Yet, somehow or rather these superstar millionaires failed to find the back of the Southend's net, yet alone winning the match. Was quite disappointing though as they surrendered their defense of the trophy just like that. Let's just hope they do well in the remaining few cup tournaments like the FA Cup & Champions League. Thank god they decided to turn up for the game at Ewood Park against Rovers over the weekend, if not, i wouldn't had want to know what the consequences might be, afterall Blackburn were the only team to did the double over Man Utd last season. Once more though, it was left to Saha to salvage some pride for the battling devils. In fact, he's been Man Utd's savior on so many occasions this season already for eg. match vs Benfica etc. Just hope he remains injury free for a long time coming as he really does not deserved such bad luck anymore. Speaking of the match, Man Utd could have won by a much more convincing margin had Wazza converted his chances time after time. How ironic that after the game against Bolton, where he scored a hat-trick, everyone was praising him to the skies, yet after the match against Blackburn, all his critics were at him again. Damn funny rite, all those hypocrites, especially the media. Well, the red devils next game would be against Sheffield United, a team they should be able to beat convincingly on paper. Let's just hope they do not have another off day once more as Chelsea are really breathing down their necks.
Saha - Hero once again
This past week, i've finally managed to see a glimmer of hope over someone whom i've wished to be part of the Manchester family in the future. He's none other than Freddy Adu, the teenage prodigy from the States. I'm not sure whether most people have heard of him before, though i knew for the fact that any die-hard soccer fanatic would have long heard of him before. Well, he broke all records when he started playing professional football at the tender age of 14!!! Yes, it's a fact, not bullshitting. Imagine playing professionally against guys who are 10-20 yrs older than u. Omg! I couldn't imagine that to ever happen. Even Wazza was just in the youth set-up at Everton when he was 14 but this kid over here had already played his first ever competitive match, even to the extend representing his country too! After all the talk above, do u know how old is he now? Well, let me tell u the answer. He's still only 17 yrs old! Still so god damn freaking young rite. Probably that might be one of the reason hence the red devils have officially invited him for a short trial at the club till the end of the year, before deciding whether to acquire him anot. Could u imagine seeing Rooney, Ronaldo & Adu attcking the opposition in the future. Woah! Definitely a force to be reckon with. Let's just keep our fingers crossed now & hoped that Chelsea or no other team would come & hijacked the transfer. If any of u are wondering exactly how good this boy wonder was, then feel free to view the short video below. It's all bout him basically.

Adu - Teenage Prodigy
Last but not least, i'm finally proud to say that the NBA season has begun. So far this season, i'm quite impressed with my Lakers as they've clocked up a few wins along the way without their superstar guard Kobe & a few other players. Furthermore, the LA team this season appears to be quite lightweight as they did not acquire any major superstar during the off-season. Anyway, Kobe was back for the past few games & just as i expected, the Lakers won once more. Good luck to them over the long & ardous season that lies ahead for this young team. Go, "LA Lakers, fast break makers!"

Kobe's Back !!!
