At times i really wonder to myself why time passes so quickly. With a blink of an eye, my precious weekend is going to be over. Just like tat. Then i'll start to wonder what had i been doing over the past whole week, whether have i utilised my time well & stuffs like tat. Well, no matter what i've done, i told myself tat i mustn't regret my actions tat's all, cos what's the point in regretting over something which u have already done. No point what. Just get on with life.
Well, this past week had been quite good for me cos made a lot of new friends & met up with many old friends & people whom i've lost contact with over the past few mths, yrs. Probably this is what i call destiny. When the right time comes along, u would meet each other. No point recking your brains to go look for one another. Was introduced into a brand new business altogether by Jasper & co, something which i'm honestly quite interested in as i believed tat there's good prospect in it & could benefit me be it in my future career or studies. Something tat requires low input & minimal risk but high returns. Ever heard of the word passive income? Well, just have to settle some loose ends first, persuade my family & to learnt more information bout the company & how to go along doing tis piece of business before i can achieve & start doing anything. Started reading financial books which are very beneficial to us like "rich dad, poor dad" by Robert T. Kiyosaki. Really somehow or rather enlightened me over certain aspects of life whereby i never ever thought of before. Stuffs like financial literacy. If one could grab hold of this piece of knowledge & apply it to his/her daily life, i gurantee u tat the person would by now be very rich. I must learnt to grab hold of opportunies when they come to me, be it in my career, studies or relationship cos they might also vanish with an instance if i do not cherish them.
Went to Riverview condo this afternoon to duke K.K's house. Was invited there to play the game Cashflow, a reality sort of game designed by Robert T. Kiyosaki(who else) to help develop business and investment skills. The game is played in two parts. In the first part, "the rat race", your objective is to "get out of the rat race" by building your passive income to be greater than your monthly expenses. You draw a career card that gives you your beginning salary and monthly expenses. Those with a higher salary also have higher monthly expenses. Movement is determined by rolling dice. You get opportunities to make investments that can eventually generate the cash flow required to get out of the rat race. You can also have the "misfortune" of buying expensive "toys" or having children, requiring monthly payments that make it harder to exit the rat race. Monthly expenses can be reduced by paying off debts. The consequences of chance and choices are highlighted in the game. Progress is tracked on personal balance sheets and income statements. In the second part, "the fast track", the objective is to win the game by being the first person to buy your "dream" or to accumulate $50,000 in monthly cash flow from businesses purchased on the Fast Track. Though in the end, no one won the game due to time constraints, but i was the only one who was out of the rat race. Learnt a few things from this game, mainly to take hold of the opportunities tat come my way & make full use of it.
Starting from tomorrow onwards, it's back to the stressful road of studies as there's assignments to be handed up yet again. Haiz. Whenever i hear of the word assignment, it sents shivers down my neck. Furthermore, my exams are also round the corner so would be quite a stressful period for me. Oh ya, some of the pics taken during my bro's b'day though i looked quite atrocius in it. Haha. Enjoy life guys!
